Sister, mother, lover, friend that She is, Her pain is our pain. In losing our connection to the moon and Her cycles, we have lost track of our own. Like a cart with only three wheels, we are off balance, spinning out of control. We have forgotten how to live in the world. We no longer see ourselves as active and responsible participants in the universal plan, which leaves us feeling disconnected, disempowered, disconcerted, dismayed, and disheartened.

The Earth, like all living things, has Her own rhythms and cycles. Birthing, aging, dying. It is our cycle, every part of it. When we move away from any part of it...we lose ourselves.
