Gwendolyn considers herself a "hippie tree hugger" and is the founder of Sisters in The Goddess Tree, school of the Divine Feminine. She is a Reiki Master in the Usui tradition and a Celtic Reiki Master. She lives with her husband and three sons (and five cats) in Burke. Gwendolyn has a BS from James Madison University and has since worked professionally in the accounting and information technology fields. Growing up, she studied dance and music, which are both very important to her. Gwendolyn handles the bookkeeping and she built and maintains the website for Sticks and Stones.

Lorelei is a tarot enthusiast and student in The Goddess Tree. She is the founder of the Northern Virginia Practical Tarot Meetup, which meets here at Sticks & Stones. She and her husband have two rescue mutts - one very zen cattle dog mix and one terrier/chihuahua in desperate need of an attitude adjustment. Lorelei enjoys reading fun vampire fiction like Anita Blake and Sookie Stackhouse, CSI t.v. shows, all kinds of crafts, and coke slurpees. She is a native of Fairfax and graduated from W.T.Woodson High School, right up the street from the store. She has a BS in Linguistics from Mary Washington College (now Mary Washington University) in Fredericksburg, Virginia. With several years experience in event management, Lorelei schedules all store events, group meetings, workshops, and outside festivals.

We wish you Brightest Blessings, Peace, and Prosperity to all!

Story #1
One of my karaoke regulars asked me why I wasn't married ... of course he was trying to hit on me. My immediate, smart-aleck response was "No one is good enough!" along with an evil laugh as I swaggered away. He looked shocked and tried to look hu… Continue

Then there are those people who I have known forever & just know too much about to attribute to this lifetime alone.

I've had conversations with a couple of friends about this. It's interesting to hear what others share about their experiences. Ok… Continue
