Gifts for Spirit, Mind, Body
One of the reasons I love the term hand analysis versus palmistry to describe my work is that it takes into consideration everything in a hand. Although palmistry is a more commonly recognized term, it can lead the uninitiated to believe that the focus is exclusively on the palm and the lines.
In reality, to get to the heart of what's happening for you now, you'll want to look at everything, and especially your fingers.
Each finger has it's own meaning and language. Here are some highlights:
You First finger/Index finger is referred to as Jupiter in hand analysis. Jupiter is all about power and vision. The Jupiter finger shows how clear your vision is and how much energy you are willing to expend to lead others and help them capture the vision. Challenges for Jupiter include bossiness and an inability to listen to other viewpoints. Jupiter can also find himself at a loss - unable to find the passion that he's longing for.
Your Middle Finger is referred to as Saturn. Saturn is the backbone of the hand and is focused on time, value and money. Saturn is a bit of a taskmaster and has a keen sense of time and project management. Saturn can be prone to fits of guilt and can highlight your relationship with money.
Your Ring Finger is known as Apollo. Apollo is most often associated with Fame and the spotlight. The important key here is to recognize the call to let your own light shine out into the world, versus searching for a light to shine on you. Apollo can be frozen with fear and helping your inner Apollian find the perfect platform (or stage) is a key to making peace and facing the fear.
Your Pinky or Little Finger is called Mercury. Mercury is about communication and healing in all its forms. Mercury needs to find security within in order to feel heard and understood. If you're facing challenges, feeling isolated or unable to communicate, it's time to visit with Mercury. Mercury can be challenged with speaking up for himself and therefore, finding ways to find and use your voice are important.
For those of you who are most familiar with astrology. The planetary associations in palmistry are not necessarily a direct match to what you may be accustomed to.
