Your Geomantic Forecast, 10/21 through 10/28

Hey all!  Hope you've been well this past week.  Here's your weekly geomantic forecast from October 21 through October 28.  The Mothers for this week were Sorrow, Loss, the Lesser Fortune, and the People which show that (despite the negative-sounding Mothers):

Overall: New beginnings this week will lead to a time of pleasant but needed upheaval in one's day-to-day life.  Between recent pleasantries and upcoming successes, despite some confusion, things are definitely looking up and ready for more action.  Things may be low right now, but lots of activity and breaking past things (sometimes in too much a rush) will lead to a new status quo in the future.  Expect nothing!  Patience and forethought is a virtue, no matter how exuberant things can get.

Finances and Stuff: Money this week may be tight, and you might do a bit too much spending or end up in unlucky monetary situations.  Be sure you know what you have before you spend it so you don't get into trouble.  This is, however, a good time for making decisions with stocks and investments, but be sure to shop around and talk with others before making anything final.

Local and Home: Things are peaceful at home, with very little changing if at all.  If the outside world seems too crazy or hectic to deal with, stay inside and relax.  You may be up for entertaining people or have over a good number of guests, which may be interesting for planning purposes!  The local neighborhood is up to a lot, but keep your head above the fray and bow out early if things start to look sour.  If there are any problems that you've been annoyed at in the local area, now is a better time to sidestep them than face them head-on.

Fun, Love, and Luxury: Be careful when dealing with any partners, friends, or colleagues this week; they may be hiding things from you, or simply too confused to know what's going on anyway.  Take anything they say with a grain of salt, be patient, and wait out any storms that may arise with them. Otherwise, now's a good time for short trips or meeting up with good friends (who aren't entirely crazy).  If you're looking to hook up, now's definitely a good time for it; just be careful about whom you pick!

Health: Despite the pleasant and exuberant time this week, you might be in low spirits or energy, at least for the next few days.  Don't let this get you down; reflect and relax, spend some time inside or alone, and clear out the dust with some meditation or reading.  Depression is a concern this week, so keep things bright and light and you'll be okay.  Issues with communication, the hands, or the arms this week might be harsher than usual.

Weather: Things will start out good, clear, and bright this week, but the skies and airs might turn sour later on.  Be careful not to get caught outside unawares, especially in the local neighborhood or on the commute.

Learning and Spirituality: Lots of activity elsewhere doesn't leave much time for learning this week.  With the harder sciences and lower education, things are wrapping up more than starting up, and it's a good time for review and putting things away in long-term memory.  Those in the humanities and higher education will be treated to a lot of good times in education, but don't expect anything to catch your permanent fancy or to stick for a while.  Now's a good time to bring secrets to light and work with the dead, so call in whatever favors you may want and see what turns up.
