Sound Therapy and Crystals
Crystals are formed when water combines with an element under certain conditions of pressure, temperature and energy. As a crystal, the element is able to express itself as a more unified and ordered being.
Silica sand, combined with water becomes quartz crystal. Quartz crystals have many physical properties. They amplify, transform, store, focus, and transfer energy. We see the results in microphones, radio and television…

Color Therapy and Crystals
Color healing, light therapy and chromotherapy are all terms used interchangeably with color therapy, which is a set of principles used to create harmonious color and color combinations for healing. This form of energy medicine is based on the belief that the human body is composed of energy fields. When the energy is properly distributed and circulating freely, the body is healthy. Imbalances or abnormal amounts of energy are believed…

Crystal Cleansing on the Full Wolf Moon
January, amid the cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. Thus, the name for January's full Moon. Sometimes it was also referred to as the Cold Moon, Old Moon, or the Moon After Yule. Some called it the Full Snow Moon, but most tribes applied that name to the next Moon.
Full Moon names date back to Native Americans, of what is now the northern and eastern United States. The tribes kept…

You can't fudge the heart line in your hands. No matter how much you may WISH to be a Philsopher Heart, you'll need to embrace your Strong and Silent Heart before you can get anywhere.
Most people think of heart lines (and palmistry, for that matter) as a fortune-telling diversion that has no place in business. But if I asked you how you felt about putting your heart in your business, hopefully you'd be on board!
I'll go out on a limb and say…

I recently had the pleasure of attending a workshop given by Christopher Penczak. The topic was 'The Witch's Heart'. He spoke about how we experience many types of love in our lives and how the most important love is self love. Without self love we cannot successfully accomplish the things in our lives that we set out to do, especially our spell work. When we cast our spells from a place of love, they are infinitely more successful than when cast them from doubt, jealousy or…

You members of the Sticks and Stones community really rock. I had a blast meeting a dozen or so of you in person Saturday! Thanks for coming out and playing and learning about your hands.
One of the best questions of the day was this, "What happens in a hand reading?"
Here's the answer:
After you've made and confirmed your appointment (with the awesome folks at the Sticks and Stones shop, please) we'll meet at the store.
I'll…

Okay, it's not that simple. Each of us is a complex, multi-faceted being. Still, the shape of our hands can reveal a great deal about what we show on the surface, as well as the general go-to characteristics we use when we're moving throughout our life.
The following is an excerpt from the soon to be released 4th Edition of Palmistry 101: A Beginner's Guide by yours truly.

One of the reasons I love the term hand analysis versus palmistry to describe my work is that it takes into consideration everything in a hand. Although palmistry is a more commonly recognized term, it can lead the uninitiated to believe that the focus is exclusively on the palm and the lines.
In reality, to get to the heart of what's happening for you now, you'll want to look at everything, and especially your fingers.
Each finger has it's own meaning and…

There's a bit of education that happens when people come to me for a reading. See, I'm not a predictive palmist. While that's what you may have been expecting based on the prevalence of the neon-lighted readers and TV, that's just not who I am. Frankly, most people are relieved once they hear that.
Don't you feel empowered knowing that you have free will and that your actions and thoughts can literally change the direction of your life (and the…

This debate - free will versus fate is as old as the ancient traditions I figure.
It comes up regularly when people find out that my source of income is derived from reading people's hands to help them leap into their exceptional life.
There are those that tell me, "I'd never want to know what my future holds, don't look at my hands!" and those that stick their hands in my face, inches from my nose and insist, "So what do you see? Am I going to be…

I've learned a lot over the last 6 months at Sticks and Stones (S&S). The best thing for me is being part of a group. I was mostly alone before--alone in abilities, alone in learning about them, alone in being able to talk about the subject (as in "Nobody").
Here, I'm with others like me. I can talk about what I'm learning, about experiences, and experiencing others as they use their gifts while learning. Its really good to find friends, to find it's OK for me to be totally…

Pastel smudges on fingers
delicate touch of heart upon paper
dreams manifested inside the spirit
which dwells in dream state push
of starry skies inked in midnight blue
as the moon dances across the blanket
summoning the night swaddled lovingly
within the infinite universe
Beckon the sunset
for twilight spins her colours
darkening hues that delight both
eyes and soul with a tender twirl as stars
find their way through the…
